2. Services Provided

South Coast Construction provides professional roofing, damp proofing, and property maintenance services, including but not limited to:

• Roof repairs and new roof installations
• Damp proofing and waterproofing
• Flat roof repairs
• Roof cleaning, sealing, and repainting
• Chimney repairs and mould removal

3. Estimates and Quotes

• Free Inspections: We provide free on-site assessments for most repair and maintenance enquiries.
• Validity: Any quote or estimate provided is valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Scope: Quotes are based on a visual inspection. If unforeseen issues are discovered during the course of work, such as hidden structural rot, we will inform you immediately and provide an updated cost for approval before proceeding.

4. Payment Terms

• Payment schedules will be agreed upon before work commences.
• For larger projects, a deposit may be required to secure materials and scheduling.
• Final payment is due immediately upon completion of the work unless prior arrangements have been made.
• We accept payments via bank transfer or other methods as agreed upon at the time of invoicing.

5. Customer Obligations

The customer agrees to:

• Provide safe access to the property and the specific work area, including roof and interior walls where relevant.
• Ensure necessary permissions or community approvals, if applicable, are obtained prior to the start date.
• Provide access to water and electricity if required for the completion of the services.

6. Warranties and Guarantees

• South Coast Construction stands by the quality of its workmanship.
• Specific guarantee periods, for example for new roofs or damp proofing treatments, will be clearly stated on your final invoice.
• Guarantees cover defects in workmanship and materials supplied by us. They do not cover damage caused by extreme weather events, third-party interference, or general lack of maintenance by the property owner.

7. Insurance and Liability

• Fully Insured: South Coast Construction (Joseph Connors) maintains professional liability insurance for all works carried out.
• We take every precaution to protect your property during works. However, we are not liable for pre-existing structural issues or damage occurring outside the immediate scope of our contracted work.

8. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• By the Customer: Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule an inspection or a booked job.
• By Us: We reserve the right to reschedule work due to adverse weather conditions, including heavy rain or high winds, that make roofing work unsafe or technically unfeasible.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Malaga.
